CENTRE WELLINGTON – The incident involved "a sexual offence that occurred between an employee and a young person" at Portage Elora on Irvine Street, police stated in a press release.

ERIN – "The young victim was contacted by an unknown person posing as a youth on the social media app, TikTok," police stated in a press release.

GUELPH/ERAMOSA – Emergency crews responded to the scene, on  on Conservation Road near Highway 6, northwest of Guelph, on April 6 at about 2:30am.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – Inspector Steve Thomas, Commander of the Wellington County OPP Detachment, is saying goodbye to the county and hello to a new opportunity.

MISSISSAUGA – The province's Special Investigations Unit has ruled that no charges will be laid against the Wellington County OPP in the death of Nathaniel Schofield, who died in police custody last summer.

FERGUS – Police are looking for help to identify the man responsible for lewd conduct involving a child in a bathroom, presumably at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex.

GUELPH – The trial for a Puslinch man who pleaded not guilty to sexual assault and gross indecency charges is set to continue at least until July.  

FERGUS – A Fergus man has been charged with sexual assault in relation to an incident here six months ago.

PUSLINCH – On Sept. 8, 2023, “a deceased individual was located in a blue sedan along Wellington Road 34,” Wellington County OPP officials stated in a press release at the time.

GUELPH/ERAMOSA – An intersection here was closed after a two-vehicle collision on Wednesday afternoon. Emergency crews were called to the scene, at the intersection of Highway 7 and Wellington Road 32 in Guelph/Eramosa, west of Guelph, on March 19 at about 1pm.
