GUELPH/ERAMOSA – Police are looking for help to find those responsible for defrauding a local business of close to $40,000. Wellington County OPP officials say officers began an investigation into a fraud at a business in Guelph/Eramosa in March.

GUELPH/ERAMOSA – A 32-year-old resident of Lakehurst died in a single-vehicle crash here early on Sunday morning. Wellington County OPP officials say emergency crews responded to the scene on 4th Line, north of Highway 7, on May 19 at about 3:30am.

CENTRE WELLINGTON – The operator of a motor cycle was transported to hospital after a serious crash here on Thursday. Wellington County OPP officials say emergency crews were called to the scene, on Wellington Road 21 west of Elora, on May 16 at about 8pm. 

MAPLETON – One person was airlifted to hospital following a tractor rollover here on Friday morning. Emergency crews responded to the scene on Wellington Road 7 before 8am on May 17.

CENTRE WELLINGTON – The suspect in a sexual assault at a local business last month is an overweight man, likely in his 50s, who may drive a Volkswagen and has an affinity for Spandex and discussing his "physique" with female strangers while they work.

MINTO – Dangerous traffic violations and drug use in the community are among the police focuses highlighted in a recent OPP report to town council. 

SCARBOROUGH – A Fergus man and two men from Guelph are among 64 people charged in a province-wide online child exploitation investigation by the OPP.

FERGUS – Police are looking to identify a man they say sexually assaulted a woman last week "at a retailer on St. David Street" in Fergus on April 30 at about 5:45pm.
