GUELPH – The United Way of Guelph Wellington Dufferin's 2022 fundraising campaign fell short of its $2.7 million goal and that spells disaster for the 50 or so community benefit organizations that rely on United Way funding.
WELLINGTON COUNTY – Local hospitals will receive over $700,000 in 2022-23 funding through the province’s Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund (HIRF), which supports local hospitals as they make upgrades, repairs, and maintain their facilities.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – Confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health region are down slightly this week, while hospitalizations are up slightly. And public health officials say two-thirds of area residents are still not up-to-date with vaccinations.
GUELPH – The new COVID-19 “bivalent” vaccine is expected to arrive in the region in the coming weeks. And when it gets to Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health, officials will be ready, says the local medical officer of health.
