Province turns down township for infrastructure funding
WELLINGTON NORTH - A 2022-23 funding application to the province's Connecting Link Program for money to resurface a portion of Smith Street (Highway 6) in Arthur has been denied. The province has suggested the township reapply in the next funding round.

Police seek clues after suspicious package found at Wellington North home
WELLINGTON NORTH – Police are seeking help to identify the person(s) responsible for leaving a suspicious package at a home here. On May 5 at about 11:15pm, Wellington County OPP officers responded to a mischief complaint at a residence on Concession 9, west of Kenilworth.
