WELLINGTON COUNTY – Fire departments across the county have declared a partial fire ban, effective June 7, “due to the extreme dry conditions.” There is no burning allowed, other than recreational cooking fires.

GUELPH – Palmerston resident Michael Hurst was sentenced to two years of house arrest and three years of probation following convictions for sexual assaults and indecent acts involving five women between 2007 and 2015.
