PUSLINCH – Wellington County OPP officials are investigating a break-in at a residential property here two weeks ago.
Police say the incident occurred on April 12 on Bridle Path in Puslinch.
“A lone suspect entered an exterior garage of a residence and stole approximately $30,000 worth of property, alongside a RTV (rough terrain vehicle),” police stated.
“The suspect then fled the area with the stolen property.”
Police say the incident occurred between 2:30 and 4:30am and they believe “the suspect attended several other residences in the nearby area.”
The suspect is described as “believed to male,” with an average build and wearing a dark face covering, dark sweater (with hood up), tan backpack and pants, dark shoes, dark gloves with a light-coloured design on the back of the hand and dark baseball cap.

Driving, vehicle charges
ELORA – A Meaford resident and the business he works for are facing 10 charges after a traffic stop here last week.
Wellington County OPP officials say officers were “conducting a proactive traffic enforcement initiative” when they pulled over a commercial vehicle on Wellington Road 7 in Elora on April 15 at about 3pm.
A 58-year-old from Meaford is charged with driving a commercial vehicle with a major defect, failing to accurately complete a daily inspection report, improper tires (two counts), and driving a commercial motor vehicle with a minor defect.
The accused was also given warnings for five other Highway Traffic Act violations. An associated business was also charged with five violations and given four warnings.
The accused are to appear in Guelph court at a later date.
