MAPLETON – Two drivers were seriously injured – one of them ejected from their vehicle – in a crash near Alma on Thursday morning.

GUELPH – A Guelph teenager has been charged in connection with a bomb threat that closed John F. Ross high school on Monday. Upper Grand District School Board officials say they notified police about an emailed threat shortly after 6am on Feb. 24.

FERGUS – A local man is facing charges after police seized about $85,000 in ecstasy and other property during a drug bust in Fergus this week.

WELLINGTON NORTH – Wellington County OPP officials say emergency crews were called to the two-vehicle collision, just south of Mount Forest, before noon on Feb. 18.

ERIN – Wellington County OPP officials say that on Feb. 11 just after 1pm someone "cut down and stole three copper cables and one fibre cable" from a pole on Wellington Road 22 near Hillsburgh.
