ERIN – Erin councillors voted against a request to support heritage designation for a former feed mill in Hillsburgh as the province's deadline for a decision closes in. The new property owner has confirmed the building will be razed.
Total OMPF allocation to Wellington County municipalities down $109,000 in 2023
WELLINGTON COUNTY – Ontario Municipal Partnership Fund (OMPF) allocations to local municipalities will decrease by a combined total of just over $100,000 next year.
Two drivers seriously injured in Friday morning crash
GUELPH/ERAMOSA – Two drivers were seriously injured, with one transported to a trauma centre by air ambulance, in a crash here on Friday morning. Wellington County OPP officials say emergency crews responded to the scene on Fife Road at Township Road 1, west of Guelph, on Dec. 2 at about 8am.
