WELLINGTON COUNTY – Salaries of Ontario’s publicly paid employees are published by the provincial government every March, in what’s officially called the Public Sector Salary Disclosure List, but more commonly known as the Sunshine List. 

WELLINGTON COUNTY – An early morning incident on Feb. 8, during which shots were fired at a Fergus home, has been linked to a “stolen vehicle incident” in Guelph and “stolen vehicle occurrences” in Waterloo and Wellington as well as a gas drive-off.

MISSISSAUGA - A Wellington OPP officer will not be criminally charged in the shooting death of 31-year-old Mathias Bunyan on Aug. 15, following a Special Investigations Unit probe and decision from director Joseph Martino.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – The number of calls for OPP assistance dropped substantially across Wellington County in 2020.

WELLINGTON COUNTY - Richardson officially took over as commander on Aug. 5, after serving as the interim commander here for about 10 months.
