MOUNT FOREST – Adam Wilson, a volunteer firefighter with the Wellington North Fire Service, will be participating in the Lambton College Fire School’s 9/11 Stair Climb to recognize the 20th anniversary of 9/11. He will be climbing 110 flights of stairs in bunker gear.

ELORA – Spectators will return to the Grand River Raceway here on June 30. The raceway will initially welcome back 500 spectators during step two of the province's reopening plan.

WELLINGTON COUNTY - Dr. Nicola Mercer’s praise of the local rollout of vaccines was followed up with caution and a plea for parents to vaccinate their children as she led off Wellington County council’s June 24 meeting.
