Mapleton awards contract for Drayton water tower
MAPLETON – Skyrocketing prices for materials have driven up the cost of constructing a water tower in Drayton. Township council has awarded a contract to Landmark Structure Co. to put up an elevated tank in Drayton.
Township to proceed with application for PMD arena upgrades
MAPLETON – Council here directed staff to move forward with an application to Infrastructure Canada’s Green and Inclusive Community Buildings Fund to cover most of the cost of proposed upgrades to the PMD arena.

Wellington North’s 2021 capital projects will cost $15.2 million
WELLINGTON NORTH – Township officials here estimate the total cost of 2021 capital projects will be $15.2 million. A report received by Wellington North council on June 28 notes actual expenses as of June 15 total $1.27 million.
Walinga receives funding for multi-million dollar project
GUELPH/ERAMOSA – Ontario trade minister Vic Fedeli announced on June 29 the province is giving Walinga Inc. $1.125 million through the Regional Development Program to help with new project costs.
