HILLSBURGH – Ontario High School Rodeo Association (OHSRA), a division of National High School Rodeo Association (NHSRA), held its first event of the season in Clinton last weekend. 

ERIN – This year marks the first time there will be a Mini Horse Show at the Erin Fall Fair. Chair of the show, Jen Ying, who cares for several minis at her farm – 2 Acres Hobby Farm in Ospringe – is excited about the event. 

ERIN – A watermain break that affected the Stanley Park industrial area in Erin on April 24, and left some with little to no water flow at the tap, has been repaired.

ERIN – For refugees chosen to come to Canada, it’s like winning the lottery, says Erin Refugee Action. The local group has sponsored five families since 2016, and is now campaigning to raise enough funds to reunite members of its second sponsored family, the Hizans.

ERIN – Carberry Park is expected to be the home of a new playground by summertime after council approved a “sole-source” contract with Alberta-based Blue Imp for $153,327.

ERIN – The town scored nearly perfect in provincial drinking water inspections last year.
