Police looking for vehicle, two suspects after ATM stolen

ERIN – Police are asking for help to identify two suspects involved in an ATM theft here on Friday.

Wellington County OPP officials say that at around 1:30am on Jan. 13 “two suspects attended a business on Main Street in the town of Erin, made entry, and stole an ATM … containing approximately $1,800.”

The suspects are described as follows:

  • Caucasian male wearing a black balaclava, black hooded jacket, black pants, tan coloured construction boots with black toes, and light coloured gloves with black grip; and
  • Caucasian male wearing a tan-coloured heavy coat, grey coloured camouflage pants, black winter/insulated boots and light coloured gloves with black grip.

Police are also searching for a four-door pickup truck – dark coloured with a construction light on the roof – that was used by the suspects.

The OPP is asking surrounding businesses and residences to check for any video footage that may have captured the suspects or the vehicle.
