GUELPH/ERAMOSA – Police have charged a Guelph woman with careless driving causing death in connection with a fatal two-vehicle crash here in September.

FERGUS – Police are looking to identify a man who sexually assaulted a passenger while posing as a rideshare driver. Wellington County OPP officials say the incident occurred on Jan. 29 at about 1:15am.

ERIN – Police are looking to identify three suspects after a handgun was stolen from a home here earlier this month. Wellington County OPP officials say police received a report about a break-in on the 9th Line in Erin on Jan. 24.

MINTO – A West Grey woman has been charged in connection with a hit-and-run collision here in the fall that left a cyclist with serious injuries.

WEST PERTH – A Harriston man died in a two-vehicle crash here on Monday. Perth County OPP officials say emergency crews were called to the scene, on Perth Line 55, on Jan. 23 at about 4:47pm.

WELLINGTON NORTH – Police are issuing a warning about scammers after a resident here was defrauded of $500,000 over six months in a cryptocurrency scheme.
