MOUNT FOREST – A number of businesses here have pro-actively closed their doors or modified operations in response to emerging concerns about potential local spread of COVID-19.

GUELPH - Medical Officer of Health and CEO of Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health Dr. Nicola Mercer has issued a letter advising local residents not to enter homes other than their own due to a rapid increase in the spread of COVID-19.

MINTO – Citing “alarming” COVID-19 case numbers “closer to home,” municipal officials here are asking residents to minimize indoor interactions and strictly follow public health guidelines on mask wearing and physical distancing.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – Wellington County saw 30 new cases of COVID-19 over the weekend and on Nov. 17 was reporting three new cases, bringing the total of active cases to 51, with one hospitalization.

GUELPH – The local Medical Officer of Health has issued a statement in support of the local school boards’ plans to reopen schools.
