FERGUS – Fergus resident Simone Kent has entered the provincial election as the NDP candidate for Wellington-Halton Hills.

CENTRE WELLINGTON – Three outstanding community volunteers have been named lifetime members of the Fergus Agricultural Society.

FERGUS – The Fergus Agricultural Society has announced the results of the 2024 Fergus Fall Fair Display Competitions.

Centre Wellington – The Fergus Fall Fair ran from Sept. 13 to 15 at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex, consisting of rides, food and beverage vendors, and tons of entertaining shows.

FERGUS – The theme of the Fergus Fall Fair is ‘Saddle Up!’ and for the team of volunteers that organize it, it’s time to giddyup.

CENTRE WELLINGTON – The Fergus Agricultural Society has been able to upgrade equipment with the help of a $149,800 Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) grant. 

WELLINGTON COUNTY – Members of the 2024 Eramosa 4-H Dairy Club have wrapped up a season of meetings and have moved on to training their calves for upcoming shows.

FERGUS – Hosted by the Fergus Agricultural Society, the Fergus Fall Fair will be returning for its 186th celebration.

CENTRE WELLINGTON – “Farmer for a Day,” a unique series of agricultural education stations developed by volunteers and directed towards children aged two to 10, will be returning to the Fergus Fall Fair this year.

FERGUS - As local fairs and festivals are desperately seeking volunteers, they've pooled their resources and held a volunteer recruitment night at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex in Fergus April 20. 

CENTRE WELLINGTON – Several local event organizers and the Township of Centre Wellington have got together to organize a volunteer recruitment event at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex. The event takes place on April 20 from 6 to 9pm.

FERGUS – A new attendance record was set at the 185th Fergus Fall Fair, the first in-person event hosted by the Fergus Agricultural Society in nearly three years.
