TORONTO - As of July 1, all long-term care homes across the province must have an immunization policy in place, the Ontario government announced on May 31. Staff who opt out of being vaccinated will have to either provide proof of a medical exemption or take an educational program.

WDGPH reports 56 new COVID-19 cases in region over weekend
WELLINGTON COUNTY – Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health (WDGPH) is reporting 56 new COVID-19 cases over the weekend (May 28 to 30) with active cases sitting at 190 — a far cry from an all-time high of 679 set on April 18.

County approves $460,000 over two years to fund youth hub staffing

Ontario to accelerate rollout of second doses of COVID-19 vaccine
TORONTO – The Ontario government says it has reached its target of administering first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to 65 per cent of adults ahead of schedule. And as of May 31, the province is moving ahead with second dose appointments, starting with Ontarians over 80 years old.
