ELORA – Gin lovers have a chance to taste more than 30 unique hand-crafted small-batch gins outside the Elora Centre for the Arts this weekend.

ELORA – The developer is walking back its original proposal for 350 Wellington Road 7 between Salem and Elora, removing the plan for an eight-storey apartment building in favour of adding more townhomes.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – Environment Canada has issued a special air quality alert for Wellington County, and much of southern Ontario, due to smoke plumes from Quebec and northeastern Ontario. "High levels of air pollution have developed due to smoke from forest fires," the June 7 alert states.

ELORA – The Elora Centre for the Arts’ construction of an outdoor performance pavilion on its two-acre property in downtown Elora is now complete. 

FERGUS – Kathy Bouma is pleased, honoured and surprised to receive the Citizen of the Year award from the Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce.

Seniors Celebration - On June 5, Fergus kicked off Seniors Month with a celebration at the Victoria Park Seniors Centre.

Coronation celebration – St. John’s Church in Elora welcomed guests to a Coronation Evensong on May 28, followed by an English tea.
