GUELPH – A delivery driver has been arrested for stealing a package he claimed to have delivered.

WELLINGTON NORTH – A Bolton man has been charged with fraud after a local quarry owner was bilked out of $40,000 worth of material over two years.

GUELPH – A Guelph man faces several charges and was immediately taken off the road after he was caught driving more than four times the speed limit. 

MOUNT FOREST – Police have charged two people, one from Arthur and another from Mount Forest, in connection with a break-in here last week.

ARTHUR – An Arthur man has been charged with assaulting a police officer during an incident here last week.

GUELPH – A Guelph woman was arrested after a Guelph Police officer was assaulted twice last Saturday.

GUELPH – Police here are investigating after a teenaged girl reported being followed by a stranger who tried to talk to her last week. Guelph Police officials say that shortly before 7pm on Oct. 14, officers were called to an address near Victoria Road North and Brant Avenue. 

FERGUS – A local teen is facing robbery charges following an incident in Fergus last week. 

PUSLINCH – A 25-year-old Stoney Creek resident was caught driving more than twice the speed limit here.

MOUNT FOREST – A Mount Forest man faces impaired driving charges after he was found asleep behind the wheel.

PUSLINCH –  An Erin woman has had her licence suspended for three months and vehicle impounded for a week after she was found driving drunk.
