SALEM – A hairpin turn at Geddes Street and James Street in Salem, combined with an increase in truck traffic is causing concern for Salem residents. About a dozen people gathered at the intersection on July 19 to air their grievances. “It’s never been like this before,” said Paul Whitaker.
County museum to reopen July 23; library capacity expanding
WELLINGTON COUNTY – The Wellington County Museum and Archives will reopen on July 23 and county libraries are expanding capacity limits. The moves, announced in a July 19 press release, were made in response to the province entering step three of its reopening plan on July 16.
