ELORA – Residents and delegations will be welcomed back in person when Centre Wellington council returns to its chamber here on April 19 for a 1pm Committee of the Whole meeting.

ERIN – Town council here is reviewing a development proposal that would see an additional 332 residential units in Hillsburgh. The site is 40.4 hectares (99.83 acres) in size, with frontage of approximately 450m along Trafalgar Road, the report noted.

ARTHUR – There’s no denying Wellington North will experience its fair share of growing pains in the coming decades, as officials spur on economic growth and the housing to support it.

PUSLINCH – The City of Guelph has exhausted water sources within its municipal boundary and is eyeing Puslinch and Guelph/Eramosa as locations for future wells, in addition to two city water sources already located in the neighbouring townships.

CAMBRIDGE – The Grand River Conservation Authority is preparing for its annual installation of warning booms or white buoys to warn paddlers, anglers and boaters to stay away from dams.

MOUNT FOREST – The oncology unit at Louise Marshall Hospital is adjusting its clinic hours. Effective April 19, the unit will move from a Monday-to-Friday schedule to a Tuesday-to-Friday schedule.

MAPLETON – An Elora man is dead following a crash involving a partially full school bus and an SUV on April 13 at the intersection of 14th Line and Sideroad 21 near Alma.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Ontario Division is calling on the province to increase mental health and addictions funding. 

GUELPH – Mask Off Guelph held the “MASKuerade with a twist” event on April 9 with proceeds going to The Grove Hubs, a Youth Mental Health Ontario initiative providing mental health supports to area youth.
