HARRISTON - 2022 is the Year of the Garden -  a Canada-wide endeavour.

Playground opened – The Arthur Opti-Mrs playground was officially opened on June 25. The playground was identified as requiring upgrades as part of Wellington North’s 2020 recreation capital program and the recreation master plan.

QUEEN’S PARK – Newly-elected Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae took the Oath of Allegiance in a ceremony at Queen’s Park on June 23. 

Raleway Festival – The Town of Minto hosted the inaugural Raleway Festival at the Palmerston Railway Heritage Museum on June 25. Nearly 500 people attended.
