WELLINGTON COUNTY – Myrna Bilton, president of the International Shuffleboard Association inducted Norm Lindsay, president of the Canadian National Shuffleboard Association into the International Suffleboard Hall of Fame.
4-H Club bakes pies
MAPLETON - On Sept. 25, Mapleton 4-H held the third meeting of the Mapleton Baking Club. Members baked pies. They made apple, pumpkin, blueberry and cherry.

CENTRE WELLINGTON – Get your foot off the gas. Speed limits are about to be reduced on several roads in Centre Wellington after council approved a new posted speed limit bylaw on Nov. 27.
Children’s Foundation needs ‘urgent help’ with Adopt-A-Family campaign
GUELPH – “This year, we’ve already received 1,464 family referrals from local social agencies,” said program director Megan Harron, and as of Nov. 27 there are 120 families who have not yet been matched with support.
