WELLINGTON COUNTY – Orders for holiday farmers’ market boxes are being accepted until Dec. 5.
With a curated selection of local foods, beverages, craft and gifts from farmers’ markets in Guelph and Wellington County, two options are available.
“Home for the holidays” includes local products and seasonal treats, and “holiday treats” contains treats and gifts.
Boxes are available for $89 and can be picked up for free or delivered for an additional $5 on Dec. 12.
Wellington County says the boxes are a “great way to discover new tastes and local products.”
County economic development committee chair Jeff Duncan stated the county is “incredibly lucky” to have many unique food and tourism experiences.
There will also be an opportunity to donate to the county’s “Market Bucks” program, enabling recipients to purchase food at farmers’ markets within the county.
