PUSLINCH – On July 2, community members gathered at the Puslinch Community Centre to celebrate Canada Day.

ABERFOYLE – With a groundswell of Canadian nationalism sweeping the county, Canada Day celebrations in Aberfoyle are likely to be awash in Canadian flags.

PUSLINCH – The Puslinch Community Centre and Optimist Recreation Centre in Aberfoyle were abuzz with Family Day festivities on Feb. 17.

ABERFOYLE – Harrison, left, and Paul Gilmour enjoyed a free skate on Feb. 9 at the Optimist Recreation Centre, which is located beside the Puslinch Community Centre in Aberfoyle.      

ABERFOYLE – The Optimist Club of Puslinch is once again planning events for Family Day weekend.

PUSLINCH – Remembrance Day events in Puslinch included presentations from Aberfoyle Public School students at the Puslinch Community Centre followed by an outdoor service at the cenotaph. 

ABERFOYLE – With the fairgrounds under construction, last year’s Aberfoyle Fall Fair was a somewhat smaller affair, but this year the fair is back at full strength and then some.

PUSLINCH – The Optimist Club of Puslinch held a free Canada Day breakfast celebration at the Puslinch Community Centre in Aberfoyle on July 1. 

PUSLINCH – Officials say Canada Day will be a blast this year in Puslinch.

PUSLINCH – By shifting some funds from reserves to the operating budget, council managed to reduce the proposed $23,354 base budget increase to $16,854, resulting in a 4.89% increase to taxpayers.

PUSLINCH – Plagued by parties that exceed capacity and renters who don’t respect the venue, Puslinch councillors hoped the solution to problems with rentals at the Puslinch Community Centre might be found in the 2024 user fees and charges bylaw.
