MOUNT FOREST – Students from Rise Combat and Fitness in Mount Forest brought gold medals home from a Taekwondo tournament in Michigan on May 3.  

ARTHUR – Arthur Second Look donated $500 towards plants that were planted in the three flower beds at the Wellington County roundabout in Arthur on June 10.

GUELPH –  The mother of an Arthur man who died in police custody last year has filed a second complaint with Ontario's police oversight agency.

KENILWORTH – A new garage with a residential unit above it will be permitted in Mount Forest, although the building will be taller than what’s usually allowed.

Pride – It was all sunshine and rainbows in Palmerston on June 8, as the community gathered to celebrate this year’s Pride in the Park event at Lions Heritage Park.
