WELLINGTON COUNTY – The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry announced on June 20 that rabies vaccine bait will be dropped soon in targeted areas of the province, including Welling ton County.

PUSLINCH – Two Puslinch councillors visited the site of recent grass fires along the Guelph Junction Railway line and reported at the June 15 council meeting that it was an “eye-opener."

GUELPH – Public health officials have identified the first case of monkeypox in the region, but stress there is no increased risk to the general public.

PUSLINCH – Firefighters from Puslinch, Guelph/Eramosa, Guelph and Milton responded to a fire at 50 McLean Road in Puslinch on June 10 and returned the next day as fire persisted in the duct work.

ABERFOYLE – Puslinch Township is taking the City of Guelph to the Ontario Land Tribunal over the city’s Clair-Maltby Secondary Plan. However, both sides are hoping to reach an agreement prior to a formal hearing.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – While the province's mask mandate for hospitals ends this weekend, local hospitals will still require face coverings for everyone entering the buildings.
