MAPLETON – The driver of a motorcycle was transported to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries following a two-vehicle collision here on Sunday.

ERIN – A local senior is dead following a single-vehicle crash here on Friday morning. Wellington County OPP officials say emergency crews responded to the intersection of Winston Churchill Boulevard and Erin-Garfraxa Townline, north of Hillsburgh, on Oct. 21 at about 6:45am.

FERGUS – Four sexual assault charges levied against a Fergus man more than two years ago have now been withdrawn.

CENTRE WELLINGTON – A Brampton man has been charged with sexual assault in connection with an incident here earlier this week. Wellington County OPP officials say officers responded to a reported assault at a home on the 5th Line of West Garafraxa township on Oct. 17.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – Residents here may soon notice billboards bearing the mugshot of 29-year-old Danick Miguel Bourgeois, who police allege killed Frederick “John” Hatch.

GUELPH/ERAMOSA – Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash here on Sunday evening that left one person dead and sent three others to hospital with serious injuries.
