Community members in Wellington County will celebrate the summer solstice and Indigenous Peoples Day by planting traditional medicines in the Indigenous Gathering Circle in Aboyne. 

MAPLETON – The 20th annual Palmerston District Hospital Foundation (PDHF) Starlight Gala raised more than $300,000 toward the equipment needs of the local hospital.

FERGUS – The playground equipment at Victoria Park here was to be removed on Thursday. The decision was made by Centre Wellington staff after the playground had to be "closed suddenly" last month "due to structural damage to the slide," states a June 13 press release from the township.
