UGDSB to make kindergarten registration easier

The Upper Grand District School Board is making kindergarten registration easier and more accessible for families in local communities.

The board is offering evening registration dates to accommodate families who are unable to attend registration during the day.

Evening registration sessions will be held at select schools.

Parents from any school in the district are welcome to attend the following  evening registration sessions in Wellington County:

- Jan. 18 at Harris Mill Public School in Rockwood; and

- Jan. 25 at Arthur Public School in Arthur.

Board and school staff will be on hand to help parents register their children from 4:30 to 6:30pm.

Traditional registration takes place from Feb. 1 to 5, in all schools in the district. Parents and guardians can  register their child, ask school staff questions and tour the school.

The board has also launched a new and improved website for kindergarten registration.
