Police, family plead for information in death of Nash Dunlop
Guelph youths charged with second-degree murder after Puslinch teen hit by minivan Sept. 19
CENTRE WELLINGTON – Police have released a video appealing for information about what led to the crash that took the life of Puslinch teen Nash Dunlop.
"If anyone has any answers or any snippet of information ... that can help us answer some questions, help the investigators," his father Brady Dunlop pleads in the new OPP video.
The loss has "been absolutely devastating" for the family, he later adds.
Dunlop, 16, was pronounced dead in hospital after being hit by a minivan just after midnight on Sept. 19 on Wellington Road 29, south of Eramosa-Garafraxa Townline.
Police have now confirmed there was party at a nearby house that night.
On Sept, 25, Wellington County OPP arrested and charged two 17-year-old boys from Guelph with second-degree murder.
"Neither accused was a passenger in the involved minivan," police stated in an Oct. 29 press release announcing the new video.
"It's heartbreaking".
