Puslinch boy dead after being struck by minivan
OPP continues to investigate circumstances of fatal collision
CENTRE WELLINGTON – A 16-year-old Puslinch boy died early Saturday after he was struck by a minivan on Wellington Road 29.
Emergency services were dispatched to the road, southeast of Fergus and south of Eramosa-Garafraxa Townline, shortly after midnight on Sept. 19, according to a Wellington County OPP news release.
The teen was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police have not identified the boy.
The minivan’s driver stopped at the scene and was unhurt, according to police.
Wellington Road 29 was closed for several hours but has since been reopened.
