Two men charged in separate break-ins

Police have charged two men with breaking into two homes here in separate incidents over seven days.

One of the men was found sleeping in the house by police, while the other was caught by police after fleeing the home when confronted by a resident.

Wellington County OPP Constable Marylou Schwindt told the Advertiser the two incidents are not connected.

“Police attended and found the male sleeping in the home,” states a Jan. 16 OPP press release.
