Thieves steal copper wire
FERGUS – Police are seeking help to identify a suspect involved in a recent theft from a Fergus construction site.
Wellington County OPP officials say police responded to a construction site on 2nd Line on Aug. 31.
Police say that at about 3am on Aug. 29, “a dark red Ford F-150 was observed travelling from a neighboring property towards the construction site, where unknown suspect(s) entered the site and stole over $5,000 worth of copper wire.”
