ERIN – On Sept. 12 at about 12:30am, emergency services responded to a single-vehicle collision on Trafalgar Road.
Police say a vehicle collided with several trees, flipped over onto the roof and stopped in a ditch.
Police determined a 33-year-old Erin man was impaired and charged him with driving with more than 80mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood in his system and dangerous driving.
He is to appear in Guelph court at a later date.
GUELPH/ERAMOSA – On Sept. 13 at about 9:45pm, Wellington County OPP responded to a single-vehicle collision into a ditch at the intersection of Lerch Road and Paisley Road.
Police determined a 32-year-old Guelph man was impaired and charged him with: driving with more than 80mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood in his system, dangerous driving and driving while impaired.
He is to appear in Guelph court at a later date.
MOUNT FOREST – On Sept. 5 at about 5pm, Wellington County OPP officers were conducting a RIDE program on Sligo Road East when they pulled over a vehicle.
A 39-year-old Southgate man was charged with driving while impaired, driving with cannabis readily available and possession of unmarked cigarettes.
He is to appear in Guelph court at a later date.
ELORA – On Sept. 11 at around 3:45pm, emergency services responded to a single-vehicle collision with a guard rail on Middlebrook Road.
A 36-year-old Waterloo man was charged with impaired driving.
He is to appear in Guelph court at a later date.
MINTO – On Sept. 6 at around 12:15am Wellington County OPP responded to a traffic complaint about a possibly impaired driver.
Police say the vehicle was located and pulled over on Wellington Road 109.
Police charged a 25-year-old Kitchener man with impaired operation of a vehicle and driving with more than 80mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood in his system.
In the above incidents the driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for seven days.
