PUSLINCH – On May 3 at about 6:30pm, a Wellington County OPP officer monitoring traffic on Brock Road South initiated a traffic stop. 

A 66-year-old Puslinch woman was charged with driving with more than 80mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood in her system. She is to appear in Guelph court on June 12.

PUSLINCH – On May 7 at about 11:15pm, Wellington County OPP officers responded to a single-vehicle collision near the intersection of Concession 2 and Wellington Road 32. 

A 41-year-old Waterloo man was charged with driving while impaired by alcohol and drugs and driving over 80mg. He is to appear in Guelph court on June 16.

GUELPH/ERAMOSA – On May 8 at about 1:45pm, a Wellington County OPP officer monitoring traffic on Highway 7 stopped a suspected impaired driver.

A 61-year-old Guelph woman was charged with driving over 80mg and is to appear in Guelph court on June 19.

PUSLINCH – On May 9 at about 5am, Wellington County OPP officers responded to a vehicle collision with a tree on Darkwood Road.

A 29-year-old Hamilton man was charged with driving while impaired by alcohol and drugs, failure or refusal to comply with a demand for a breath sample, driving while prohibited, driving a vehicle without an ignition interlock device and driving without insurance.

He is to appear in Guelph court on June 19.

INVERHAUGH – On May 9 at about 12:30pm, Wellington County OPP officers were conducting a RIDE program on Wellington Road 21.

“A vehicle entered the checkpoint, where officers detected signs of impairment,” police stated in a press release. 

A 64-year-old Orangeville man was charged with driving while impaired by alcohol and drugs and driving with cannabis readily available.

He is to appear in Guelph court on July 28.

ERIN – On May 9 at about 7:45pm, Wellington County OPP received a complaint about a suspected impaired driver on Wellington Road 124.

A 52-year-old Amaranth man was charged with driving while impaired by alcohol and drugs and driving over  80mg. He is to appear in Guelph court on June 19.

GUELPH/ERAMOSA – On May 9 at about 9:45pm, Wellington County OPP received a complaint about a suspected impaired driver on Wellington Road 32.

A 49-year-old Guelph/Eramosa man was charged with driving over 80mg and is to appear in Guelph court on June 16.

In the above incidents the driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for seven days.
