CENTRE WELLINGTON – Long-running favourites return this Canada Day in Centre Wellington. 

DRAYTON – Next year will mark 150 years since Drayton’s incorporation as a village, and locals are planning to celebrate with a big birthday bash.

CENTRE WELLINGTON –  This year’s Canada Day celebrations are particularly special. 

ELORA – On April 14, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Centre Wellington (BBBS CW) hosted a special event in preparation for the annual soap box derby on July 1 in Elora.

ELORA – The Elora Firefighters Association will be hosting their annual pancake breakfast in MacDonald Square starting at 7am on July 1. 

CENTRE WELLINGTON – Homemade cars will once again race through Elora’s downtown on July 1.  

DRAYTON – Fair season in northern Wellington kicks off on Aug. 5 with the first full-scale Drayton Fair since 2019.

Soap box derby – The popular soap box derby was back this year in Elora for Canada Day…

CENTRE WELLINGTON – In Centre Wellington, Canada’s birthday party moves between Elora in the morning and Fergus in the afternoon, and wraps up with fireworks at 9:30pm at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex.

ELORA – The Soap Box Derby is back to kick off Canada Day in Centre Wellington. 

And they’re off - The July 21 soap box derby was one of many highlights at this year’s Mount Forest Fireworks Festival. Ten competitors raced down the Mount Forest Speedway (aka Princess Street) for a grand prize of $25.
