PALMERSTON– Palmerston student Reese French has won the 2025 Turtle Island Heritage Youth award. 

PALMERSTON – From June 2 to 5, Norwell District Secondary School LRC 10 students travelled to Ottawa to compete in the Special Olympics Provincial Championships for soccer.

GUELPH –  Some parents and students would like the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma program to be offered in Upper Grand District School Board (UGDSB) schools in Wellington and Dufferin counties. 

HARRISTON – From June 5 to 17, creative artwork can be seen by Norwell District Secondary School (NDSS) students at the Student Art Show 2025.

GUELPH – Over the years, the Upper Grand District School Board (UGDSB) has raised more than $2.5 million for the Terry Fox Foundation across all its schools.

PALMERSTON – A new beauty salon, owned by a young entrepreneur, is slated to hold its grand opening very soon.

PALMERSTON – Norwell District Secondary School students who finished first and second at the District Four Badminton Tournament travelled to Kitchener to compete at the Central Western Ontario Secondary Schools Association badminton tournament last week.

PALMERSTON – The Norwell District Secondary School Junior Varsity Reds competed in a six-team tournament on April 17 in Lucknow. The Reds opened with a convincing 6-0 win over Listowel.

PALMERSTON – On April 15, Frederic Chartier, owner and chef at Beyond the Gate restaurant in Shelburne, visited Norwell District Secondary School students to show them how to prepare traditional French crêpes.
