MOUNT FOREST – The Mount Forest Lions Club hosted a well attended Spring Craft Market at the Mount Forest District Sportsplex on April 12.

MOUNT FOREST – The Mount Forest and District Sports Complex was buzzing with excitement on Sept. 12, as the annual Volunteer Celebration and Newcomer Welcome event welcomed both new and preexisting members of the Wellington North community.

MOUNT FOREST – On Sept. 7 the Mount Forest Lion’s Club held its first dinner and dance fundraiser in support of research and treatment of childhood cancers.

MOUNT FOREST – The Mount Forest Lions Club made a donation of $10,000 to the Louise Marshall Hospital (LMH) Foundation on June 27, thanks to proceeds from their weekly Wednesday night Bingo.

MOUNT FOREST – Mount Forest Lions Club president Crystal Steffler presented the Family Health Team of Mount Forest with donations of $1,000 towards its community garden and $2,000 towards its mental health initiatives.

MOUNT FOREST – The Murphy Park Pavilion has gained some improvements with a new roof and picnic tables.

KENILWORTH –  The Mount Forest Lions Club presented Upper Canada Learning with a $5,000 donation towards a new playground at Kenilworth Public School.

FERGUS – Kara Shaw wants to express her gratitude to the people who support Lions Clubs in Wellington County, because it’s the Fergus Lions Club and the Mount Forest Lions Club that helped her get Delight.

MOUNT FOREST – Last Friday, a dream in the making for Kay Ayres came true. 

MOUNT FOREST – The Mount Forest Lions Club holds a popular grocery gift card raffle several times a year and it has shared the proceeds of its most recent raffle, $5,300, with the MRI+ Campaign, helping to bring MRI technology to Palmerston and District Hospital.

MOUNT FOREST – Mount Forest Lions Club members served hot dogs and cold water in return for food bank donations during the well-attended event.
