PALMERSTON – Foodland in Palmerston celebrated its opening with a ribbon cutting on July 12.

PALMERSTON — The Palmerston Community Food Bank celebrated the grand opening of its new location on Sept. 14. It was previously housed in the basement of the Palmerston United Church. 

KENILWORTH – Crombie Property Holdings Ltd. has signed an agreement with Wellington North after a cost sharing deal was left up in the air at a previous council meeting.

KENILWORTH - Wellington North council has declined a recent pitch from a real estate trust to spend more taxpayer dollars on an intersection related to a new grocery store coming to the community.

GUELPH/ERAMOSA – Steven Liebig, the runner-up in the Ward 3 councillor race here in 2018, has agreed to be appointed to the position. Council formally declared councillor Louise Marshall’s position vacant on March 7.

WELLINGTON NORTH - Council here received, on Jan. 24, a signed site plan agreement between the township and Sobeys Developments Limited, which owns Foodland and Sobeys grocery retail stores, for the development of a new Foodland grocery store in Mount Forest.
