Porcupines Quill gets $18,561

Canada continues to invest in local arts and culture in Erin through $18,561 in funding the Canada Book Fund.

The funding allows Porcupine’s Quill to continue to produce high-quality books.

Wellington-Halton Hills MP Michael Chong made the announcement on Nov. 30, on behalf of the Honourable James Moore, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.

Porcupine’s Quill is an award-winning publisher of books that sets itself apart with its use of modern printing technology to replicate the quality look and feel of a nineteenth-century letterpress product.

“Our government is proud to invest in projects that contribute to our collective identity and define who we are as Canadians,” Chong said. “With its creative approach to publishing, Porcupine’s Quill is a unique Canadian publisher.”
