New doctor joins East Wellington Family Health Team

Roxanne Trangmar is now part of the East Wellington Family Health Team (EWFHT) and will be working out of the Erin Medical Clinic in Erin village.

Trangmar recently finished her medical residency in family medicine at Western University and has completed a number of family medicine placements with the EWFHT team.

The team has gone through a rigorous recruitment process, officials stated.

“We feel Dr. Trangmar will be an excellent addition to our team,” EWFHT executive director Michelle Karker said in a press release.

Those interested in becoming a patient of the EWFHT can download and fill out a waiting list form which can be found at http://www.ewfht.ca/documents/WaitingListForm-Erin.pdf or they can pick up a form in the waiting room.

Completed forms can be dropped off with information at the clinic at 6 Thompson Crescent in Erin village.

The health team will be calling people off its current waiting list in small batches over the next eight to 12 months.

“We ask for and appreciate your patience in advance, as the process to register and enroll new patients with a new physician takes time,” Karker stated. “If you are on the waiting list, you will be called and asked to fill out a Ministry of Health enrolment form so the team can add you to its medical records and appointment booking system.”
