Minto hosts Fire and Ice New Year’s Eve event

Bringing in the new year – The Fire and Ice New Year’s Eve party hosted by the Town of Minto and Minto firefighters drew a crowd of over 500 to the Palmerston arena on Dec. 31. Ice skating, a fire show, food booths and other activities were all part of the fun. Bringing in the new year – The Fire and Ice New Year’s Eve party hosted by the Town of Minto and Minto firefighters drew a crowd of over 500 to the Palmerston arena on Dec. 31. Ice skating was a popular part of the evening, which also featured a fire show, food booths and other activities.

A fire show by Bex in Motion was part of the fun.

The event wrapped up with an extensive fireworks display.

Youngsters lined up to have their photos taken with the Ice Queen and Snow Princess.
