Two trailers damaged by fire
PUSLINCH – Two trailers were damaged by fire at McClintock’s Trailer Resort the evening of Oct. 31.
The call came in around 7:30pm, with the Puslinch and Cambridge fire departments responding, along with Wellington OPP.
“We arrived to a single trailer fully involved,” said Puslinch fire chief Michael Chant, adding the fire spread to trailers on either side but firefighters got those out pretty quickly.
“One of those sustained heat damage but the other didn’t,” he said.
“People did lose their belongings but the fire was minor in nature.”
None of the trailers were occupied and no injuries were reported.
The fire was deemed not suspicious, according to an OPP press release.
“It was likely electrical but the cause hasn’t been determined yet,” Chant said.
