Low level bridge closure at Elora Gorge Park restricts traffic in area

ELORA – With the closure of the low level bridge in the Elora Gorge Conservation Area, expect some traffic changes within the park for 2019.

Due to weather events in 2017 and 2018, the low level bridge was damaged by high water flows. It is currently closed and will remain closed for the 2019 season.

While campsites will be available in the northern section of the park beginning June 14, all camping permits will be issued at the main gate entrance. Campers will then be required to exit the park and re-enter the north side from 7295 Middlebrook Road.

No sales of permits for camping or day use will be available on the north side at this time.

Camping remains available on the south side of the park, however traffic between the north and south side is no longer permitted.

The shuttle bus for tubing will not be operating in 2019.
