CENTRE WELLINGTON – September is Ford’s Global Caring Month, and this year dealerships across the country are joining together for the World’s Largest Dealer Food Drive.

ELORA — The Elora Centre for the Arts (ECFTA) is inviting the community to help lay the foundation for the future of the arts in Centre Wellington with its “Buy a Brick” campaign.

CENTRE WELLINGTON – Around 25 people from the Tree Trust group gathered for a short walk accompanied by Rob Guthrie and Al Koop  a local historian to learn about trees as they prepare for winter. 

FERGUS – The immersive enchanted forest fantasy experience, Enchanta Forest, returned to Fergus on Sept. 19 and 20.

BELWOOD – Organizers have come forth with an official “car count” for the Belwood Car Club’s annual car show held Sept. 7 at the Belwood baseball diamonds.

FERGUS – For six women, the Fergus Fall Fair has become an annual family reunion.

FERGUS – Centre Wellington’s mayor, councillors, senior staff and members of the Ecclestone family were on hand for the ribbon cutting of the new Ecclestone Financial Group Playground on Sept. 22.

ELORA – The pail of water tossed by Christina Robb from her back apartment window did little to suppress the shooting flames licking up an outside wall of the Metcalfe Suites building in downtown Elora.

CENTRE WELLINGTON – Emergency crews were dispatched to the intersection of Wellington Road 16 and Sideroad 20, west of Belwood, at about 5am on Sept. 22.
