FERGUS – The You’re the Chef Club at St. Joseph Catholic School in Fergus prepared and served lunch to over 40 members of the St. Joseph Parish’s Catholic Women’s League (CWL) on May 23.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – The county’s Children’s Early Years Division is on the hunt for more people willing to provide child care out of their homes.

ELORA – You might have driven past it dozens of times and not known it’s there. But off the 8th Line just outside Elora, around a bend and down a laneway, is a magical place. And it’s here, at 6338 8th Line, where the local Estonian community is preparing for its Song Festival – June 28 to 30.

ELORA – Young artist Juliet Zimmerman’s month-long artwork won the Insights People’s Choice Award worth $300 on June 21. 

FERGUS – On June 22 the show spotlighting Tom Petty, Full Petty Fever came to the Fergus Grand Theatre with his music and a light show on the stage.

FERGUS – The Belwood and District Lions Club presented a $1,000 cheque to the Centre Wellington Food Bank (CWFB) as its annual contribution, on May 23.

ELORA – A group from the Neighbourwoods environmental stewardship organization gathered for some exercise while learning about local trees during a walk on June 8 led by local historian Al Koop and botanist Rob Guthrie.

BELWOOD – Neil Muntz and his children attended the sale, which raised over $1,000 towards Pine Meadows’ $500,000 pledge to support the new Groves hospital campaign.
