Erin Radio receives $50,000

Erin Community Radio, a community-based, volunteer run, non-profit,  radio station, was awarded $50,000 for the implementation of “Making Radio.”

These funds were made available by the Community Radio Fund of Canada (CRFC) under their Radiometres program.

With the funds received, the station will create new spoken word programming and increase independent Canadian music content. As well as recruit new volunteers.

“Erin radio is delighted to partner with the CRFC on this project whose generous support gives new opportunities to the radio station to expand our programming capabilities,” said officials in a press release.
