GUELPH/ERAMOSA – Police are looking for help to find those responsible for stealing about $250,000 worth of toothpaste from a local business. Wellington County OPP officials say officers responded to a theft call at "a storage lot" Highway 7 in Guelph/Eramosa.

FERGUS – Centre Wellington District High School's (CWDHS) girls hockey team has captured the District 10 championship. Following an undefeated season, the CWDHS Falcons beat John F. Ross Collegiate Vocational Institute 6-0 in the championship game on March 2.

FERGUS – Police have arrested two people in connection with a "grandparent scam" targeting a resident here. Wellington County OPP officials say they received a call about "an active fraud" at a Fergus home on March 2 at about 1pm.
