Brianne Jenner offers female-only hockey academy

OAKVILLE – The Brianne Jenner Hockey Academy returns again for another year during the week of July 29 – Aug 2 at 16-Mile Creek Arena in North Oakville.

This female-only academy has become a popular destination for summer training for recreational as well as elite players.

Brianne Jenner, a resident of Wellington County, is a two-time Olympian and assistant captain with Canada’s Olympic team.

Jenner is joined by an talented instructional staff including fellow current Olympic team members Erin Ambrose and Victoria Bach, several other Hockey Canada women’s players, and professional athlete trainer Andrew Yap.

Marc Power, former skating coach for the National Team as well as the Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators, also works with players across all programs.

Programs are available ranging from the recreational player through to College-bound athletes and include the Full-Day Hockey Academy, and more specialized programs in Power-Skating, Goal-Scoring and Offensive Play, and the Prospects Development Week. New this year is an introduction to the game for beginners aged 4-6.
