PUSLINCH – Police are investigating the theft of five "semi-tractors" worth over $1 million from a trucking yard here about a month ago. Wellington County OPP officials say the trucks were stolen from a property "near Highway 401" on March 14 at about 9pm.

ELORA – A Rona employee is dead after being hit by a vehicle while at work on Saturday. Emergency crews were called to the business, located on Wellington Road 18 across from the Elora Quarry, at about 3:15pm.
Emergency department closing again at Louise Marshall Hospital
MOUNT FOREST – For the 10th time since last summer, the emergency department at Louise Marshall Hospital is closing for a portion of the weekend. Due to a staffing shortage, the department will close on April 6 (Saturday) at 7pm and reopen on April 7 (Sunday) at 7am.
